How to deal with EXCESSIVE NOISE OR VIBRATION FROM DISPOSER?

If there is excessive noise or vibration from the disposer, check the following:
1. Disposer not installed properly. Re-install disposer so it is level.
2. Make sure the unit is hanging vertically and not pulled to plumbing.
3. Foreign object in the disposer.
4. Bone chips or fragments can occasionally wedge in the shredder, causing a ticking noise until retrieved or worn away. Note: The impeller can also jam due to bone chips wedging under it.
5. Open circuit within motor. This will require service.
Remember, some noise is normal. With high torque and speeds up to 1,700 RPM, Rosun disposers deliver a faster, finer grind and are less likely to jam or clog.
